what is wrong with my BTA?

hey guys
i purchased my BTA a week ago, and its always hiding under the piles of rocks... and everytime it gets expose to light... it hides back in... its like its scared of the light... what wrong with this BTA???

my light fixture is 4 bulbs of T5 (3x14k and 1xactinic)
and all paramaters are stable and regular...salinity is 1.026

any ideas is much appreciated...

the tank it came from could have had poor lighting and is just slowly adjusting to the new tank, just give it a bit of time to get use to its new home, whats ur flow like?

 

thats a good point... the LFS had under only 2 t5 bulbs... soo it is possible that its only adjusting then?

I would say the lighting, just let it get use to its new surrondings. Lol BTA are goofy creatures

Yeah, probably the light but they also hide and constantly move if something is picking on them.

 

all my nems have had this behavior at first but came out after a couple days

 

awwk ive had mine for a week now... im just getting worried... i try to help it get light sometimes... when it crawls under a rock... i take off the rock thats covering it, but it just looks another hole to hide in... is this normal?

 

lol stop messing with it, trust me ive talked to local reefers. The more you mess with him the more hes gonna stress and you dont want that thing to die and kill your whole tank. Give it some time to come out and play
