    Hey All,

Just kinda wanted to open up kind-of a fun thread...

What is your Favorit Non-Essential Tool?

By this I mean I dont want you to tell me your Skimmer, Power Head, Doseing Pump and what not but something that is out of the ordinary and unique...

I am hopeing for some DIY or Manufactured items something that you may have just thought of or came across of and for what ever reason has made your Reefing or Fish Keeping easier.

    Thanks,
    Cole

Just becareful I had a friend dump his test tube after testing his tank into his tank while drinking a stiff drink!

Speaking of stiff drinks what would a reef/fish keepers drink be? ::)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Plastic sandwich meat container. I have to catch my female clown everytime I even stick a finger in the tank. It's clear so she can not get a good idea of what comes next. Non-essential to reefing but essential to avoid blood loss from me.

On a hot day I go with vodka and sprite. Gotta have vodka in there... you know? That way if you spill a little into the tank it's no big deal.

But seriously, Super Glue GEL. The stuff make it pretty easy to secure frags and anything else you want to permanently secure underwater. Gotta be careful with the stuff, but it works wonders when you get the hang of it.

I like to use twist-ties to keep my equipment wires neat and in order.

I'm sure I have some other tricks...just can't think of them at the moment.

Is it bad that my fish go thru more vodka then I do? And the sad part is I like vodka!

J/K on the fish going thru more then me... But who would have thought fish tanks like vodka?

Cole laugh out loud, (ha Im easily amused.) I would have to say my favorite unessential tool would have to be a hydrometer. I say this because I went months on end without one. I would occasionally steal my Ex's to make sure I was doing okay. Im fairly sure that is a contributing reason to why she is my Ex. I won the custody battle over said hydrometer after the relationship went down in flames. (She asked for it back. I said no. Great victory.)
