Blue Life SPS 14k. Corals have responded well so far, and the color is beautiful.

I prefer a blue tint. 10k is a bit too white / yellow for my taste. 14k is a nice balance. Crisp white blue hue, the SPS bulbs really make the colors pop without too much white or too much blue.

I either like 12k or a mix of 10/6.5k and 20k. Iwasaki 6500 are great for growth. I've been thinking about a mix of that and ATI blue+ t5s.

And I understand this is not scientific, but Kelvin ratings are not absolute and can be quite misleading. Some companies 14Ks are another companies 20Ks. Pheonix 14K are the same as some 20Ks, and some 14Ks are like others 10Ks. We need to rate some how, but Kelvin ratings are not all that accurate. Phoenix 14Ks are as much blue as I care for. Very good PAR numbers for such a blue bulb. My corals like them. I will look for a less blue 14K next time.
