I currently have a peppermint cleaner, blood red fire shrimp, and a harlequin in my tank. I am thinking about adding another shrimp and was just wondering what everyones favorite is. It would be cool to have something rare/colorful.

I used to have 2 Pacific cleaner shrimp in my 29g. But I really like the look of pederson shrimp. Either those or sexy shrimp have to be my favorite. :) The cleaner shrimp were nice too, although much more common.

The sexy shrimp looks awesome, but all the ones I can find for sale are so small...1/4"-1/2". Does anyone know how I could get my hands on a larger specimen? Liveaquaria also says they do best in small groups...I wonder why? How many would be considered a small group?

You could probaby buy a 1/2" one for $10~$12. If you want a 1" one, expect to pay $45~$50. You LFS can order them in but they certainly aren't going to order them unless because I've seen them on the wholesale price lists, there is a special request.

I would order at least 3 (preferably 5). If you don't have both sexes, they will just sit there as opposed to doing their "sexy dance". BTW, like clownfish, they don't require an anemone.
