Blue Coral Banded. They only get 1 1/2". I had one for a couple years that hung with my Diamond Watchman Goby and a tiny redheaded goby in my last tank. The DWG was the only fish it would clean LOL.

Does anyone have problems with their fish eating their sexy shrimp? Whenever I see them at the LFS they are tiny. They are about the size of the feeder shrimp my 3-stripe damsel eats whole.

I don't have one, but I REALLY like blue coral banded shrimp. I think they're big pinchers are so cool. But if were talking favorites here.. I'd have to say fried shrimp :) haha

I really love my two Saron Shrimps. My LFS recently called them Monkey Shrimp. When I was a kid I used to catch them around the Magic Island rocks in Hawaii.

They turn Red at night, and are mottled Green/Brown during the day. Very Beautiful shrimp. Mine dont bother my Zoanthids at all, I think they are rated "caution" for corals. They are scavenger feeders and pretty much eat anything the other inhabitants miss.

Saron are often called marbled, mystery, or monkey shrimp

just added 3 of the sexy shrimp to my tank, they are so small that when i looked at the bag they were in i thought it was empty at first. i placed them on a maiden grass thats in the tank. none of the fish bothered them. i did place them directly on so the fish didnt think they were food dropping threw the water. any way they moved and i havent see them since. 9.99 each and very very small, before they disappeared, i did see the one swaying on the maiden grass. it was cute. i hope they are just in the rocks and show up. but they are so small they will be hard to see if they do show.
