I personally would not run anything other than mh for anenomes. I know people that have them under t5s, but why take the risk. I have had good luck with the mh and anenomes. They have split and lived. One even got sucked into the koralia and is repairing itself nicely.

How high is a "little high" and how old is your tank?

Depends on the tank size IMO if you can keep a anenome under pc's... My bta was huge under my 48 watts of pc's in my 12 gallon nano dx.....

That's too high for sensitive inverts such as anemones. Also, I don't recommend putting anemones in any tank that hasn't been set up for 6 months or more. Good to hear that you've upgraded your lighting though so if/when you're ready to try another anemone, you will at least have enough lights to support it.

+1 on what everyone said, you need good flow, good lighting and a well established tank for anemones, and I still spot feed mine silversides from time to time.

I would wait a long while before I added ANYTHING else to your tank. My first and second anemones died around the same time. I believe one started to die and then they had toxin wars between each other (they release toxins as they die). I was too stubborn to believe they were dying so it wiped out my whole tank...corals and a few fish. Those toxins got into my sand and everything I put in the tank for the next couple months died. I continued to vacuum sand weekly and do water changes and eventually things began to live again in my tank. Now I proudly house about a 22 inch carpet anemone and a bright lime green LTA. Also, clownfish are great for the health of anemones. If/when you try anemones again, if they won't settle down into a spot that is a warning sign and should cause you to start looking for the problem. Anemones need strong lighting....that penetrates to where ever they take up home, water flow as said before, and they do not take kindly to salinity changes either. That's the advice I can think of off of the top of my head for now. Anemones are my favorite tank creature...very interesting esp with their clownfish hosting.

Thank you all for helping with me and Gitsie's tank. First thing Sunday morning we ordered two of the Koralia 1's. They should be in sometime the middle of this week. ;D
Now all we need to do I guess is to sit back and let it mature;D Of course by the time that happens, hopefully we'll have our 125 going, so we can start all over again!;)
