Pretty sure it is a chainlink eel, you could also try frozen squid or clams. If he won't eat any of that worth a shot to try some live feeders like ghost shrimp gut loaded with vitamins.

I always fed my snowflake eels with a skewer or chopstick and put some shrimp on the end of the stick. move the stick around to attract eel to bite, and at the last second stick your hand in the tank!

jk about the hand in the tank. :)

My Snowflake takes anything, shrimp, clam, squid, octopus, etc. but it took him about a week to settle in before he would accept anything. My gymnothorax tile took even longer, at almost 2 1/2 weeks. Provide plenty of hiding spots, and leave the lights off for longer if possible to reduce stress, and possibly try feeding at night. Hope it helps!

I get a 2lb bag of "Seafood Mix" at my grocery store in the frozen foods dept. for around 3 dollars a bag. It has squid, clams, mussels, octopus, squid and shrimp, perfect for the eels imo. Any updates?
