what kind dof eel is this and what do i feed it?

i see that stuff at winco all the time

 

ive never seen a winco here in ny

 

I got mine at "Food Lion", but i'm sure any Kroger or Albertson's would carry.

 

dont think ive seen those here either

 

I read that sometimes silversides have a disease that eels are suceptible to, i think thats was got my snowflake after a couple years. Might want to take to another food source

 

You are in Long island right? Try a live bait shop for any small shrimp, crab or fish.

 

yup im on long island ive been looking but they dont have anything due to the cold....he will eat fish that have been sitting out for a day or 2 but i dont think thats healthy for it is it? and even then hes more interested in ripping it apart then eating it
