What kind of Acans are these?

    any ideas...i'd like to know the kind so i just dont say "those are my acans" i wanna be able to say "those are my ___ Acans" ;D

    if it helps they have a purple-ish center, burnt orange-ish ring, then a bright green-ish color ring

    They look like regular old acanthastrea lordhowensis to me. If your looking for a trade name, I have no clue. Just stick with acan lord or acan for short :)

    I agree with the cat with the funny hat :) or is that cat in the hat? maybe some green eggs and ham?

    +1 don't worry about the marketing/hype. They're great looking acan lords!

    Most acans really don't have a marketing name. Zoas and Chalices is where that comes into play a lot. They are Acan lords, so call them that.

    only acans i have seen with names are the rainbow ones, and they are super spendy too, they have a rainbow of colors usually toward the center of the polyp

    lol, Acan lords it is. But if you feel the need to give them a marketing name, make one that matches it :) They are yours lol.
