What kind of algae is this?

    This is my new Nano 29 gal, but its growing like a lawn on Scotts Miracle Grow (even the sand). I had some in my old tank but this is nuts! I am using RO water and the tank has a carbon filter, wet/dry bioballs, and a coralife needle wheel for a skimmer. I tested the water and all seems to be good, no Ni. I bought a turbo snail and a few more crabs to help but this stuff is growing too fast for them to keep up.

    What is the full name of this hair algae so I can try and correct it

    Not sure what the real name is but it's hair algae.
    There are sticky threads on the algae board that go into great detail on getting rid of this.

    Thanks you guys, I did read a lot of the sticky threads, but it seemed to be crucial to know what for sure I was dealing with... (thats why I wanted to ID it) This site is the best!
