I got a pic of the base. It's with the flash cause it's night time :) Lights out for everyone. He hasn't moved from that crevis that I was hoping he would settle into, so I am hoping he likes it enough to stay put! lol

Yea, I'm nearly 98% sure it's a Ritteri. I touched its tenticles and it sucked itself into the base like the ritteris do.

Well if your sure you might want to trade it in. They are notoriously difficult to care for and require very intense lighting and flow. Along with a very well established tank and impeccable water quality. But if you think your up to it you may be able to handle it. However you may want to get a few opinions.

Yes, I know all about them. I am been reading sooo many different forums and sites about them, to tell u the truth I really am not worried, My tank is 1 1/2 years old, well established, stable with prestine water conditions. I keep high light/finicky acros in my tank without issue. The guy who had it before me, had it under 3 PC bulbs in a 14gal biocube for a whole year, and it ended up splitting for him and he said he had never fed it ever. So, I am not worried at all about lighting lol My tank is a 20gal standard with almost 100wats of T5HO and LED lighting, T5s are all ATI bulbs too! I have more than enough light for this nem, especially considering the tank it came from lol It's doing very well so far. I think I can handle it ;)
