What kind of brain do I have?

    Its the open brain variety...color is ??pink...orange..red?? cant tell... they like mysis shrimp....Lower light and lower circulation...at least my "green" open brain does.

    The Family is Trachyphylliidae and I think its a Geoffrey ? or something along those lines the Family I am totally sure about..

    Thanks guys. When I look at other pics they "look" harder than mine. It is florescent pink. I had it high, but moved it low and away from where the Clown hangs out and it seems happier. Flow is low.

    Set it on the sand and if its M/H lighting and a deep tank thats fine they prefer disused lighting and bulbs K values and mix of fluorescents with the proper lamps also effect the coloration and looks . Whay type lighting do you use ? From the looks of that coral ? I'd say 10 K is M/H or a few sun light range 7100 K or daylight type if tubed lamps are running . And little actinc 03..

    I have a Coralife Pro on a 90g. 2x96w BA, and 2x150w MH. Not sure of the temp. Keep meaning to call my co-worker I bought it from to ask.

    He also putty'ed it to a big rock. Don't really like the big rock it is attached to. Maybe I'll try to break it off. What is so good about putting it in the sand.

    when the open and close on a rock it will get damaged by rubbing so this is why everyone tells you to put it in the sand
