I got some live rock a few weeks ago and noticed this guy. My tank is new and at the time nothing else was in my tank. I added some snails and hermit crabs and took this guy out so he wouldn't mess with anything...

Any idea what this guy is? he is out of the tank for now and unless i can figure out what it is i'm not putting him back. I don't have a sump to put him in either.

With those claws it needs to stay out of your tank.

lol that's how i felt. Today was the first time i was able to find him since adding the other invertebrates. I'm worried he may have eaten a few. I've noticed one or two empty shells. :-[

It could be, it probably would go after your fish when it gets large enough and may also go after corals.

    BTW welcome to 3reef.
