What kind of Crab?

    This Crab must of hitched a ride on one of my Live Rock. Can anybody tell me if it's reef safe. (Yes, I'm a newbie) So far, it hides out most of the time and just sticks out a claw to feed.

    Not sure, but looks safe. If you look at the end of the claws they have flat pads for algae eaters. If they are pointed, they are bad.

    smooth legs = might be ok
    hairy legs = probably bad

    That is a good basis to go on. However, it looks a lot like an Emerald crab with some odd coloring to me.
