I got a feather duster today but I have no idea what kind it is. The person I got it from didn't know either. I paid $12 for it.

Wow!! Love the purple!!! I just got my cuc from reefcleaners the other day and I noticed a tiny feather duster on the shell of one of my snails. Made me really want a bigger one. Are they hard to care for?

They aren't hard to care for. Just make sure they have proper flow, your water quality must be really good and remember to feed them.

I've never seen it before, but a very beautiful duster though.

    Hawaiian Feather Duster, Sabellastarte sp.

We have one just like it, but the purple is burgundy under our lighting (we have less blue actinic). In the store under their lighting it just looked brown and white.
