If you have shrimp, don't get a dottyback. I made that mistake. If your tank is established, you could do a Lawnmower blenny. They are really cool fish. Most do not accept prepared foods though, and make their meals off the rock and glass. What they lack in looks, they make up for in personality.

I don't really need to stay super small. One of my PJs is fairly big the other 2 kinda small. I am just looking to fill that space with whatever will fill it, have good personality, and get along with my other inhabitants.

Researching on line the different fish people have suggested, isn't the lawnmower the same as the starry but just different coloration. I see the starry stays smaller but I see the starry is also called the starry lawnmower blenny. Could/Should I have both? I do like the yellow coris wrasse. Everyone has suggested smaller fish. What about bigger ones or should I stay smaller?

I heard the leopord wrasse is pretty aggressive toward cleaner shrimp. I would get one but due to that I don't want one. I want everyone to be happy and get along without adding fish maryjane to the tank.

I had one, lived about 5-6 years. Called him Big Blue. Was Very territorial and pushy in his old age. Got stuck by my Foxface and well, the FF won! He got to be about 4.5" long and about 4" tall. Pretty big in a 55. But I do like them. Thinking about getting 4-5 green chromis, which are pretty close to the Blue Reef Damsel. Same family, different color, different name.
