This hermit came with a batch of red legged hermits I bought several months ago. Is it albino or something? Can't find any pics like it online. It's got bright blue eyes and everything else is white or cream colored.

Maybe it's some genetic problem with the scarlets or something

I have a way of finding out, now follow me with this. Take a scarlet hermit crab, squish him up, do a genomic prep and do a PCR protocol for the color allele. Then take YOUR hermit and do the same thing. If he is a scarlet we should see some scarlet color segments of DNA on an electrophoresis gel ;D. I;m just kidding I really have no clue what he is but that's a cool find.
