pc [power compacts] and i wouldnt put corals under it. find a good t5 fixture to run [ brands that are good tek, current us to name a couple] they would work for a small fuge, but not a dt with corals

power compact. its only 18 watts. if there a two and there the same light its 36 watts.
personally i wouldn't get PC lights unless they're dirt cheap kinda a out dated technology

no you want aim for 4 watts per gallon with corals

if its ten gallon with the two bulbs you would be ok for soft corals.

i don't know they might just be compact floursecent. if so then pass

i can't figure out what wattage the other 2 are.
but the poor reflectors they come with would already lessen the low output of the bulbs.

you may be able to grow stuff with it but i would wait for a better deal on something else.

i don't want to give you a ok on something that may not work. but to help you out here a link to a different 24" power compact. that will work allow you to grow a bunch of corals, just be warned pc's aren't good lights, and oddysea isn't a good brand. i gave you this link because the light they sell are probably cheapest you will find on the internet not used.

edit: im assuming a ten gallon is 24 inches because i don't remember. they also sell a 20 inch on but it only 36 watts. i would get two, with PCs its better to get more then 4 wpg then less.

Power compacts work, but at this stage when technology has far surpassed them, why bother? I would go with T5s or Halides any day over PCs. IMHO...of course =)
