what kind of lights do i need?

    i have a 150g. the six foot long one.

    i want to keep any kind of coral and such. Can you give me a link from a website where i can get the ones i need? if they have moonlights even better.;D

    well you will probably want metal halides cause your tank is probably really deep. give us specs to go off of if you can? so that we can help you out to the fullest and what your plans are with the tank!

    i think is 72x18x29.. its the standard six foot long 150g.
    i want a reef tank.... pretty much i want to go to an LFS and get any single coral they have with out any buts because of lightning.:p

    yeah i would do metal halides. thats what i have on my 30 gallon and i can put anything i want in there. thats just my suggestion others will probably tell you different. there isnt really a right or wrong but i would do metal halides if i did that big of a tank. plus if you want clams you can add them if you have metal halides!

    i got mine from fishneedit.com i have a 150watt metal halide. they have 250 watt metal halides too and they have t5's too. its really cheap but really good quality. i would highly recommend them.

    a standard 150 is a pretty deep tank, I would look for a fixture with 3 250w MH at a minimum, should be able to keep anything you want with that
