what kind of sand do you use?

filtration i got a ss65 (i know kinda crappy but i have it working as good as any ss65 has ever worked) its located in a 15 gal sump that holds 10 gal of actual water, run carbon in the sump also, return is a mag 7 i think it pushes close to 300 gph into the tank. also have a 10 gal remote fuge teed off the overflow line with cheato, red garcilia, and culp.,sand,and Lrr. this freely overflows back into the sump. the sump was hooked up about a month ago, and the fuge has been running 2 weeks.


i do think i have a lack of cleaning crew, as i only have 4 scarlet hermits(i dont really think do anything ),and 2 turbo snails that do clean alot of the algae on the glass put just poop out bricks onto the sand. and the 4 nass snails that are awsome.

30 that kinda seems like alot?



all these questions are stemming from me trying to get a cleaner healthier tank,and rid my gha befor it gets bad. thanks for all the help.

 

I got the Arag-Alive, I think the Bahama Oolite, but can't remember exactly.
