    okay! thanks! looks like the butt end of this one got broken off, along with all the cool lookin' spines. It's going in my mantis tank. Where are these guys generally found?

    Ya, that one has been around a bit. I'm not sure where they are from, to be honest. I just know they eat other snails and were once used as actually hair combs ", back in the day".

    I'm reading that they get 15cm long tip to tip. This one is atleast that without the long spine. It's obviously from the same family "Mucicidae", but it's gotta be a different species.
