If you have proper lighting no need to ever feed an anemone .. People feed them to death , But if you feel the need a simple bag of the best thing is raw bait squid ! from a local fishing bait place . makes them grow like mad and will induce splitting sooner .. far better then shrimp 2nd choice is I'd use squid from a grocery ..Oh that sebae anemone need some serious lighting its very white

I usually thaw out a piece of silverside and let my condy have a snack every couple of weeks. As Tangster stated, proper lighting (T5s or MH) will feed the bacteria within the anemone which are responsible for nourishing the anemone (symbiosis). The only reason I feed mine is to suppliment my lighting. I run PCs, which are not going to make an anemone happy in most cases.

When I had my old setup with one I used to feed it a small piece of thawed raw or thawed cooked shrimp...That little sucker loved it....it was so neat to watch it wrap its tents around the shrimp and pull it on down...lol

I would feed raw rather than cooked. More nutritious.

I have heard this before is it true a healthy anemone should have a tan colour and not white or see-through?
