    WELCOME TO 3REEFS

I think just about everyone here will tell you to buy a Aqua C Remora Pro.  They are not the cheapest skimmer around. If you want to save money the skimmer isn't the place to do it.  JMO

Try http://www.captivereefs.com they are a sponsor of this site. They offer a 6% discount if you type in 3reef under the coupon code. During August he was offering 10% off Aqua C's maybe if you ask nice he will extend that offer. From what I have seen on the site he is a very nice guy.

I just took a look at it and you may be able to get away with just a Remora and not the Remora Pro. The regular Remora is recomened upto 75gal.  Maybe someone can let us know if that would be sufficent.

What kind of tank do you have? Is it a Reef, FO, or FOWLR? I just looked at your original post and it looks like you are going for reef.

The lowest price is set by the manufacturer everyone has the same price. If we go below it we get cut off. Best i can currently do is the 6%. The regular Remora with MJ1200 is good for about a 55 Gallon reef max. You could use it on a bigger tank but i would reccomend the pro for anything over 55 gallons

    Darin,

Is that legal? It's called 'price fixing' over here and if caught a manufacturer would get a hefty fine.

I would go with the Advance Aquaria Excalibur! Amazing skimmer.

If your cheap, a Seaclone 150 would do a good job as mine has!

    Hi John!

It's not really "price fixing" per say....because it is one manufacturer setting it's own price ....not several manufacterer colluding to come up with a set price for competing products.

It is more a tool to make sure that retail stores not only are willing to carry your product, but to help smaller independent stores stay in business by not getting undercut by big conglomerate stores.... :(
