what kind of snail is this..

    Need help on id. Very strange shell, very quick for a snail. Seemed to be eating algae of frag plugs when I spotted it.

    god looking at the pic I did not even notice the glass was that dirty, amazing what a decent camera can capture..gross

    +1 stomatella :) They get bigger and will reproduce readily in your tank. A great hitch hiker!!!

    My gut told me stomatella as well.

    Not just reef safe but reef desirable!
