What kind of snail is this??

    i just seen this snail... not sure if its a baby snail or if its just a snail who lost its shell... not even sure if thats possible lol.. is back is redish and in the shape of a shell but doesnt look hard..

    It could be some kind of a nudi that hitched a ride into your tank. Have you added anything lately?

    no like a week ago we added 1 hermit 2 narc snails and 1 sand sifter starfish... but i didnt see anything with them...

    do you think he will hurt my mushrooms?

    Yah it's some kind of snail for sure. I'm not positive as to what kind. Someone will chime in and help you ID it.

    Most snails sold at our LFS's are reef safe. Your shrooms will prob be ok but keep on eye on that snail til you get a positive ID.
