I've got the Aqualight Power Center Aqualight Power Center | Aquarium Timers | Electrical Supplies | Aquarium - ThatPetPlace.com
It has been crapping out on me lately. The timer keeps turning but for some reason it doesn't turn off the light. At first it was the daylight side where I have my MH plugged in. The MH would just stay on. I managed to fix that somehow, just by fiddling with it till it worked. Now the other side is doing the same thing and my actinics are staying on.

I'm fed up with this timer and looking to replace it. Anyone have any suggestions on which timer I should buy? I'm looking for something under $100. Any ideas would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

I am glad to hear somebody else had the same problem. I have the same strip and the same thing just happened a couple weeks ago. I had it hooked up on the right side of my tank and the MH did not shut off......

I am going to follow along with this thread as I need advice also. I have a total of 8 lights that need timers so I need something other then those individual timers My tank is 6feet long so I have 2 light sets, one on each side (2 MH plugs for each light, 1 T5 plug for each light, and 1 LED for each light =8)

The AC III Pro looks pretty nice. I was just reading a bunch about it. I'll probably get one someday, but for now I think I'll just get a replacement timer. The thought that your fish tank can run a webserver is very appealing to me though. Maybe after I finish up my big project at work and have a lil extra money laying around I'll get a controller. What sort of probes did you get otty?

I'm still looking to get a timer for now, anyone else have any suggestions? What're you using right now and does it work for you, or do you wish you had something else?

I'm on my 2nd aqualight power center timer, they're obviously crap. The first one died within a month and the company replaced it no questions asked. This 2nd one is already crapping out after 2-3 weeks again. *sigh* I think I'm gonna ask for my money back.
