I had the same problem with the same timer. It was the worst $50 I spent on this hobby. I now just use a power strip and individual $4 home timers from Target. I'm running T5s so I don't know if regular timers could handle the current draw of MHs.

I bought three of these at home depot that work perfect for me. I run two MH of the first one. The third one is one MH and the cooling fans. The last one for the VHO's and two power heads. Never had a problem with them. 7 day programmable digital timers inder 30 bucks each.

I was going to buy a expensive timer from the lfs and he told me not to buy the piece of crap. That made me wonder. He said to go to the lhs and buy a strip and timers and they have worked for years. Even with my mh's.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I'm going to go to home depot as soon as I can and pick up some digital timers. I'm sorry to hear so many people have had the same bad experience with their aqualight power centers. It's hard sometimes to weed the crap from the good, that's why I posted on here for some advice from 3reefers this time. I'm glad I did, just wish I would have done that the first time around. Thanks everyone!
