what lighting do i need

    about to buy a 5x2x2 (560L) the fish shop wants me to put in aqualina double compact and moonlight with 96w compact fluro + 55w compact fluro or a t5 with 2 blue and 2 white tubes..........any suggestions

    Thats about a 140 gallon tank. If your planning on keeping a reef tank you will want to go with more wattage. If its a fish only then those lights would be ok.

    I would go with the T5's (even if its going to be an all fish tank). If you get the t5s you could always tranfer over to reef later

    Definitely, they might be a little more expensive (i guess it depends where you shop around) but they are worth it.
