I have a 20 Gallon reef tank. What would be the difference between my tank and a Nano tank or are all reef tanks under 30 gallon called Nano tanks?

A "Nano" tank is just a word meaning "small" tank. When does a small tank become a big tank? Who knows? If you have a 300 gallon tank a 55 could be considered a nano in your opinion.;)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The standard is, per many resources.

6 gallons and under a Pico.
    6 gallons to 30 a nano.

A connected sump makes these values worthless however.

+1 Exactly. I would like to meet the people who decided exactly how big a tank should be to be considered a "nano".Lots of scientific research must have been done to reach that conclusion.lol:cheesy:
