So in about two weeks I can buy some new fish and don't know which would be best for my tank. I have a fifty five gallon tank with a two clownfish, a watchman goby, and a blue crab in it.

What are good fish to add.? Can more clown fish be added.?

    Thank you.

You can look at dwarf angels, anthias, wrasses (certain types - need to read up on these and need to have a top on your tank because they are jumpers), I love my filefish and hawkfish, are some ideas. Of course, not everything listed but some ideas to look at. Hope this helps!

As OFK mentioned, a smaller dwarf angel, reef safe wrasses (Possum, Flasher, smaller Fairy Wrasse), Firefish, Assessors, Blennies, Cardinals, etc. I would actually say no to Anthias though. They generally need larger tanks and are not for the inexperienced.

Here is a good resource though to browse fish, see their requirements, and what they cost: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/aquarium-fish-supplies.cfm?c=15

no more clownfish in the tank man, a pair of clownfish is usually the max a tank can have unless its quite large. i personally would check into dwarf angels. although if your keeping corals that may be a problem...

I looked in their dwarf angel fish and most of them require 70 gallons. I only have 55 gallons.

Well that's sad about the clown fish. :( I have no coral in the tank.

This is one place where I think LA's recommendation is high. Most places say 30 gal minimum for a smaller (4" or so) Dwarf Angel, which I think is too small. However, a 55 is a perfect size for a smaller one due to the 4' length. I also have no idea what size tank a 70 gal is? Anyways, a Coral Beauty or Flame Angel are sized just right IMO.

For tanks that size, i would think dwarf angels would be a great idea. I love flame angels and bicolors :)
