what salt mix do you use and share your info?

    I use instant ocean.

    I dose to keep my params stable - the higher end mixes don't really buy you anything if you're dosing. if you keep params up via water changes though, I would definitely switch to oceanic or reef crystals...

    Thats why I switched to the Reef Crystals They were only like 5 bucks more for the big box. I always buy my salt in bulk. I only supplement Ca and every now and then Strontium but try to perform a 25% water change every three weeks or so. I have been wondering about Mg supplementation after seeing so many on here doing it but haven't tried that yet.

    Seachem Reef Salt, high ph, dissolves fast, inexpensive, love it.

    I ran IO reef crystals for my first year. Does well and had no complaints.

    I switched over to Red Sea Coral Pro on the upgrade. Saw a big difference in my SPS, but a new skimmer might also be helping.

    I have just started dosing to maintain levels.

    Likewise, it provides some trace minerals that standard instant ocean does not.
