just upgrade to a 75 and you could put all that in there.

as the protein skimmer in the sump and use the powerhead to reciirculate the water back into the tank? what size sump is good?Coralife 30" aqualight aquarium fish tank light 50/50 | eBay
i found this light which i think would be good for corals
i would also need bio balls and some sort of moss or plant right?

    What about uv sterilizers?

    new idea!

ok so i have a new stable final setup.
it is a 38 gallon 36x12x20 with livesand and 30-40 lbs of liverock. i am also going to keep a variety of simple soft corals like torch , frogspawn, hammer, mushrooms, polyps, and leathers and a hard coral: montipora. the fish are going to be a maroon clownfish, dwarf fuzzy lion, cockatoo wasp and red fin wasp. these 4 fish are not going to be too much in terms of bioload because i plan on putting one in at a time over the course of a month or two.

Two smaller heaters. Redundancy is a great thing in a reef aquarium!

You shouldn't need the added surface area of a wet drys bio balls with the amount of live rock you have. And don't have to tate the risk of nitrate building up. But with the corals, it would be advised to go with a protein skimmer, which is where the sump can come in. Sump will give you more water volume to help with stability, and allow you to hide equipment like the protein skimmer, heaters, and you could also run Carbon and GFO to help with phosphates and keep algae growth down.
