what should i do?(neptune apex help)

do you mean the aquacontroller jr by neptune? i really cant tell you much about that unit since i dont have it.
or did you mean the apex lite by neptune? if your thinking the apex lite .... go for it! its an awesome unit. so easy to use and so well thought out. even the advanced mode is easy when you want to put your own codes in.

 

Actually, the JR comes with 4 controllable outlet, it just does not have a face plate control. It's actually a pretty good deal. But be sure it offers what you want or the lite or the full.

Bottom line though is that any controller will give you what you want. Safety, monitoring, and notification. Hook up the full/lite/Jr to the web and you can control everything from around the world.

 

No I thought there was a jr coming out soon?

 

Thanks to all I see it is to be released in May. would like to have it before summer officially gets here.

 

i traded the apex lite in and ill be getting the full version.... this is now getting expensive after paying $17 to ship it back.

 

I ordered 1 also, it'll be here sometime next week!! Also ordered some BRS pumps for dosing.

 

sweet.... dosing pumps are still aways away for me gotta recoup some funds...dropped afew pennies this month on the new build (210 plus 120 sump).

 

How did you mount your apex modules?

Just got a neptune controller and I wanted some ideas on where & how some of you fellow reefers mounted your power bars and modules. You know behind the tank, in another room, beside the tank, above the tank? The instructions say above the waterline of aquarium, seems like it wouldn't look right? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Good reefing to ya!!

 

mine are mounted inside the cabinet at the highest point.

 

Same for me. I mounted in my cabinet but above the top of my sump.
