Okay I came home today and found one of my rics blown off the rock it was attached to. Can I use expoxy and set it back or place it in a different place? would placing it higher in the tank with pc lighting be too much for a ric?

I've never had luck glueing slimey corals like mushrooms and ricordia. Your best bet would be to find a low flow area of the tank and place the ricordia in a sheltered pile of rock rubble until it attachs itself to a piece of rock. Ricordia prefer lower light than many corals but if it "feels" that it doesn't have enough light, it may move up higher in your tank.

I have taken a needle and some thread and just stitched them to the rock through their base or stalk, Or you can use some plastic like tooth pick and shove through the stalk or base and then use a rubber band to anchor the plastic bard to the new rock. Glue will work but you have to set them as was mentioned in a very low area. Oh the thread will rot away in a few months Also some lace like cloth stuff can be used to tie them down. I have used all the above and I like the needle and thread the best for the little slime balls ..

if u place the shroom in an area will it adhere to any surface on it's own? What kind of mesh can u use, I have no rocks that are small enough to get an elastic around it...I hope it just adheres cause I am not good with small items, I had a hell of a time just getting it in a place with low flow...it doesn't seem to have a stalk. It was attached to a rock and somehow fell off?

If it's not blown around too much, the ricordia should reattach. For mesh, you can use a piece of bridal veil or, if you have a "used" bag of carbon that's in a mesh type bag, you can use a bit of that. Mushroom corals often detach from rock because they're not happy where there are, be it because they're not well or because they don't like the area that they're set at. They can also jump ship if the rock that they're on becomes overpopulated with other mushrooms or other corals.
