    I would get a grounding probe ASAP, then see how things do. You can also check the water with a multimeter too see if any current is leaching in to the system.
    Did you use any medications in the tank while it was a fresh water tank?

    No there were no medications given...
    Also for the multimeter what setting, and stick the probes in the tank on opposite ends?
    The shrimp and crab didn't die till after I was battling the hight nitrates.
