I was looking at the sand from my 150 I took down a few days ago and saw all kinds of different live creatures.Should I remove some of them and put in my dt and fuge for my other tank or just leave them out?
    Thanks,
    Daniel

I would... If you get even just 1 bug that you didn't have in your other tank, it would be worth it IMO. I love biodiversity.

When I took down my reef I picked stuff out of the sand for a few days and put it in my mantis tank. Nothing wrong with extra critters.

I always try to save everything I can. The worst thing I ever had to do was break down my tank to move & not set it back up. I still mourn all the diversity I lost (especially all my non-pink/purple coralline colors) 6 1/2 years later!
