After looking through threads and posts, I'm confused still about what size powerheads to have. 75 gall. with 100 lbs LR, 1 open brain coral, two colonies button polyps, perc, sailfin tang, CUC, sandsift star, serpent star, orange sea star, skunk shrimps, 2+ inch SB. 480 GPH turnover, 1 koralia #1 right now. What to add and how to position the flow is my question. Overflow box is in center on back wall of tank, it's rounded on sides, not squared. Still can't figure out how to post pics for reference, sorry!

I would say 2xkoralia 3's would be good...
You want to position one each side of the tank and position them looking down at the sandbed so they both clash at the middle, but not enough has to create a sand storm...

To post a pic you can join Photobucket and upload one, then just copy and paste the link to that pic, its really simple...

I agree on the two K3s but I would probably try to get one to blow behind the rock to keep sediment from building up too much and then use the other to break up the flow of the return pump. I have mine in the back facing down and the other facing slightly up. In theory this is to help O2 exchange but I think it might just cause salt creap =)

It will help with c02 exchange, i just point my return up at the surface, and keep the powerheads to circulate the water, as long as you have a few caves the flow will get round there anyway, mine does i can tell by how the food flows this is a good way to test...

Hehe, I use the food to check my water currents too. I thought it was just me.

Oddly enough, I watch where the food flows and I do have a couple cave areas so the flow should be good when I put the powerheads in.

Pretty much you want to not have any dead spots in the tank. Other than that its just personal pref.
