What size sand should I use? I have 2 mp40s and plan to keep mostly sps. I don't want to deal with sand blowing all over. So what I'm looking for is the smallest sand with out the worry about it blowing all over And the "best" brand to get.

    Thanks much
    Jacob

I have Caribsea sugar sized aragonite. It is dry sand. Just place the pumps near the water line and you should not have too much of a sand storm if at all.

+1 to that you could really get away uing what ever you like as long as your power flow isn't hitting it full blast

I would get sugar sized sand, it may blow around easier but larger grain sand can start to get coraline algae on them.

It is a very fine grain like sugar. It moved around a little till the bacteria colonized it, now as long as there is no powerheads pointed at it, it will stay put. I'm running 2 koralia4's and a koralia 2 in a 90 gallon tank.
