I'm looking to purchase one of those SEIO pumps and debating on which size to get. They have been given kind of a bad rap, but I like the design and mounting options. I have standard 90 gallon 48"l x 18" wide x 24"tall

Which one the 620, or the 820 I'm thinking the bigger one's will be too much flow.

    Thanks

I have the 620 in a 40G along with a Maxi Jet 400. It's not too much flow for the 40G. I would go with the 820 for your 90G.
I really like it. The mounting is really well done and the flow is nice

    Thanks,
I have 2 PH in the tank already and I hope to replace them with the SEIO's. I'll probably pick up 2 820's

I have the 620 in my 120g tank and have had no problems. It runs silent and moves lots of water. It also stops and starts right up. If you want lots of flow, I would go with 2-620's instead of the 820. The 620 uses 8watts of power, while the 820 uses 18 watts. If your concerned about too much flow, you can dial down the gph in them. Therefore 2 Seio 620's will consume less power than the 820 in the long run
