I have had a FOWLR tank for a while and decided to go to corals. I have't changed over to a sump. A cansister has worked great for a while. Want to change over. Any suggestions without disrupting the system????

18g tall is the best you can fit in the bowfront stand IME.

Use as large a tank as you can based on your space available.

You will not disrupt the tank if you buy an over the top over flow. Set up the sump and plumbing before connecting to the tank. If you are using a deep sand bed in the sump fill up the sump and let the sand settle before running the sump.
