What Size Tank and GPH Do You Have?

Ive recently done the math on how many GPH of water i have circulating my tank and it shocked me! 1200 . Now I want to start a thread and see who can make the biggest wave ;D


What size tank do you have and roughly how many GPH you pumping?

Post em up:

40 Gallon tank
1100 GPH (roughly)

 

I have a 20 gallon high with

Koralia 1= 400gph
Koralia 1= 400gph
Maxi-jet 1200 hooked up to a remora skimmer= 295/4= 70+gph
Penguin 200= 200gph

TOTAL of 1070+ gph roughly

 

29G

and roughly 1200GPH which equals about 41.3x turnover

 

20 gallon tall

Reaction 4 EFU 45 = 290gph
(2) Penguin 200 = 400gph
Rio Protien Skimmer = 110gph
Rio nano power head for sittring up gravel = 90gph

Total = 890 gph
Tank is filtered 44.5 times in one hour.

 

55 gallon

koralia 4 - 1200GPH
Koralia 3 - 850GPH
koralia 1 - 400GPH
return pump - 250GPH
TOTAL = 2700

tank turnover = 49 times/hour (i think)

 

90g with a Magdrive 18....minus the 5' of head.........we're talking about
1100-1200 gph Luna

 

55 gallon.

2x Koralia 2 = 1200 gph
2x Koralia 1 = 800 gph
1x Koralia Nano = 240 gph
HOB Filter: =~300 gph
HOB Skimmer =275 gph

Total =2815 gph

=~50x

I doubt the filter is really turning over that much water though...

 

55 Gallon

Koralia 2 = 600
Seio 610 = 600
Quietone 3000 = ~600 (dialed down return pump)
Octopus 120 PS = ~250
Aqua Clear 3 = 100 (dialed down for carbon chamber)

Total = 2150 (I dont count this as the number as the PS and AC dont move water in the actual tank)
In the tank total = 1800

turnover 32 X

 

29 Gal

2x Koralia 1 = 800 GPH
Fluval 305 = 260 GPH
Rio 800 hooked up to Remora = 211 GPH

total = 1,271 GPH
turnover = 43x/hr

 

265g Display
5,800 gph from sump
5,800 gph OM closed loop
11,600 gph Total minus head loss.
