    Wow, some of you people have some strong flow. I have a 90 gal with:
    Mag Drive 1800 for the pump
    Koralia 1 - 400 gph
    Koralia 2 - 600 gph (I think)
    With no compensation for head loss on the return I am right about 31 times/hr tank turnover.
    I may think of ungrading to a Mag Drive 2400 soon since I just added a 20 gal fuge under the tank and the new volume of the system would leave me below the recommended 30/hour tank turnover. Off to the LFS.....

    1 Korlia 1 - 400gph
    Rio2100 Return - 450gph w/ head room
    Total: 1700 gph = 31x turn over rate

    Flow.

    Maxijet 1200 to skimmer. Flow checked (got really bored and have a fluid power class stole flow meter and checked everyhting) at 212pgh.
    k2 600gph
    powersweerp 214gph
    return pump after head loss at 312gph.
    fluval 405 at 324
    total=1662
    38 gallons after displacment. 43.7 turnover. im happy at that number.

    2x Koralia 4- 2400GPH

    total flow= 5390/ 36x turnover

    damn. I still need more

    Why so many turnovers? isnt it suposed to be 5 to 10 times an hour?
