    I have a Aqua Medic Turboflotor Multi SL on my 55. I like it but I am no expert on skimmers and I am just starting up my tank so there isn't any livestock yet.

    On my 30g a use the Tunze Nano Doc. It skims really well for a nano skimmer, altho i have noticed once the skimmer is dirty, say about 100 mls of skimmate it tends to stop collecting. However it is the best nano skimmer i have tried out ever!, so the bigger models surely must be equally as good?

    I run dual skimmers on mine. One is a coralife super skimmer 125 (works very well) and the other is a pacific coaster imports ps 2000. I empty the fairly large cup on the 200 about every 3 days and the super skimmer every 3 or 4.

    I use a AquaC EV 180 on a 145g system. The AquaC skimmers are a little pricey(imo) but they are one hell of a skimmer. Do your HW before you go and buy anything.
