    try vertex in180. Been using one in my 120 display last 3 months, runs perfect. Tons of thick skim-mate.

    I have the AquaC EV 180 on my new tank and love it so far, dialed it in 2 days ago at the tail end of my cycle and it has pulled a full cup of junk out from the 3 jumbo shrimp I used to start my cycle 6 weeks ago!

    Ive been reading tons of good things on the vertex-180. Might have to get it. Not gonna chance the XP-2000. especially with all the criticisms

    Vertex makes amazing products. I was going to get the 180 but then realized its footprint was larger than I could fit. So I got the Aqua C. But I plan on getting a vertex calcium reactor soon.

    I pulled the trigger [​IMG].

    Ordered the Reef Octopus Super Reef XP-2000 Internal Skimmer ;D.


    Reason I purchased this the XP-2000 cone is because of the bubble blaster pump and the cone body.... Just spoke to a gentleman that has been testing the Cone and said "it is doing GREAT!!! So far so good...." Hasnt completed the break in or all of the test yet though. But I am gonna take the risk ;)
