    Hey people!

Yea I know you guys proably get this alot but hey its no fun at a forum unless you have newbies to show around ;D

What I need to know is what skimmer I should use, I have a 90 gallon tank with about 80lbs in live rock, (got a great deal on it $300 CDN for the rock) but anyways these are the skimmers I am looking at:

Seaclone 100 or 150 (seen alot of pros and cons)
    Rea Sea Prizm
    Visi - Jet Ps100
    Turbo Venturi

I am leaning towards Prizm but I just needed more input on them

Don't get the prizm or the Seaclone. I don't know a thing about the other two. Get your self an AquaC Remora Pro. YOu can get a hang on or in sump. Go to http://www.captivereefs.com and check them out. You get a 6% discount with coupon code 3reef.

ditto's on the aqua c. I've just recently purchased one after seeing all the rave reviews and can't believe what a difference it makes already.

None of the skimmers mentioned in you initial post is really large enough to handle a 90 gallon tank. I agree with above at getting a Remora Pro if you can afford it., they are probably the best hang on skimmer you can buy.

Exactly why I'm here, to help and inform others and to offer my opinion along the way ;) I want to show others my mistakes, so they don't have to go thru them.

Now, like all have said prior, Aqua C Remora all the way. If it were me, I'd get the pro. The comparison between the AquaC skimmers and the list above is, well, there is none. Completely different leagues. You'll fiddle so much with the others, you feel burned by your purchase.

Go with a Euro-Reef.  NOTHING pulls the kind of skimmate as those skimmers.  Here is a picture of the skimmate out of my CS6-1 on my 90 after one week (and this skimmer has been on the tank for months so this isn't new, it does this everyweek).
