Looking for snails that particularly stay on live rock, what kind should I look into?

Snails will stay where the food source is, and different snails eat different algae. What are you trying to clean off your rockwork?

IME, Astreas tend to eat the algae that grows on rocks, ceriths stay in the sand bed during the day, eating algae on the glass at night, and turbo's go where ever they want, Chitons, as mentioned by 2in10, stay on the rock for the most part, my abalone also stays in the rock work. this is how they act in my tank anyways.
