What suggestions on clown-anemone do you have?

    Like PackLeader mentioned, with stock lighting, you won't be able to keep an anemone. If you upgrade, however, I think a BTA would do best in that sized tank (they can get big too so keep that in mind). Carpet anemones get HUGE so I'd pass that one over.

    Is it just the BTA and and carpet that need higher lighting???

    Like I mentioned I had a Cody that flourished and did very well, it grew over double in size and had great color (I just gave it to a new home yesterday to make way for a hosting anemone).

    IMHO by that picture, the condy looked bleached. also, growing in size greatly in a short period of time is also a sign of low light. Just my two cents.

    I would say that all "tropical type" anemones need higher lighting.

    get some better lights then get the rose bubble tip anemone :) then wait a week or two depending on the time it taks to get comfortable then get two black clownfish :) my personal favorite.

    Okay, I am going to ditch the Oceanic bio cube and switch the the JBJ 28 gallon, it has a built in MH and that should do the trick

    HAAAAAZZZZZZAAAAAA yes it will my friend how many watts per gallon will you have if you dont mind. (oh and we LOVE pics here too)
