What temperature variation do you allow in yourLPS/SPS/Fish tank?

    I think they were just saying they don't use a chiller. Not that you or anyone else shouldn't.

    The word "I" would have been a big help with that post :)

    I also use the Apex. How are you handling the hysteresis, with a .1 temp. spread. How often does the outlet cycle?

    ha ha I was just pointing out that you could do it but for me I do not mind a temp swing of 77.5 to 79.5(although I think I need to invest in a new heater because these outside 20+ degree swings at night has caused 3 to 4 degree temp drop in tank). Florida can get cold at night sometimes but that is when we finally get to open our windows.

    Reef Angel controller. It's set at 78.9 and stays there most of the time. It's cold this morning, and the temp is 78.8. The controller is set to send me an alert if the temp is lower than 78 or higher than 80.

    0.5 Deg F. This keeps me between about 78.5 in the winter to about 81 in the summer.
