What the he** is this!?

    I was do a midnight check of the inhabitants in my tank and wowzer found this snail like creature! what is it?:confused:

    Does it have a thin, half shell on it or no? If it does, it's probably a stomatella snail. If it doesn't, I'm going to guess that it's a type of flatworm.

    No shell

    there was no shell and thats a big flatworm, its a little over an inch. are flat worms a probelm?

    Looks like a stomatella. I have maybe 20 or 30 of them in my tanks. LoL free snails they are good algae eaters.

    Awesome Snails

    This one guy is eating algae off the back wall and he is dam good! And for free! he cleaned half the back wall in less then one day! Everyone should get one of these, hehe. It has doubled in size though, or so i think. I did see it twice it size as that of the one posted but i then saw it shrink to a smaller size. Do they get bigger then 2 inches?

    If so it's a chiton and most of them are beneficial.

    I don't know the name of it, but I have the same type of snail in my tank. It's harmless, it just eats off the glass.
