    hi,i noticed this thing last night?what is it?where did it come from? i have not added anything new to my tank lately.

    Looks like some sort of sea slug I'd guess. It looks pretty cool...let's just hope it is safe for the tank!

    Could be a type of cucumber - but most likely a Nudibranch they usually look like the stuff they eat. Have you had any corals that are looking like they have been munched on?

    I do beleave it is a nudibranch... I would remove it. Some like the one in the link will eat soft corals and Zoa's..

    what the heck is this

    pretty darn close,i looked this morning ,i was going to see if i could take a better picture,,i found whatever it is under a small piece of rock,the wierd thing is ,it looked like it stopped there,then just came apart?it was just like a skelton,all parts just laying there.i took a baster"new one" and sucked all the parts out.
    none of my soft corals look as if they have been harmed?not sure what it was,,but it is gone now.one of lifes mysteries???????????
